Lubin Upper Ten was inspired by the sharp rise in American industrial authority by the hands of the captains of industry in the 1800’s. The poet Nathaniel Parker Willis coined the term in 1850. The Upper Ten (or upper Ten Thousand), refers to the elite, self made aristocrats that made the industrial revolution possible. The immense success of these individuals lead to a unique and powerful culture, which exists to this day.
Lubin Upper Ten was originally launched in 1920, nut has been reimagined and updated to fit a 21st century nose. The aroma contains notes of cedar, sandalwood, leather, geranium, cardamom, spices, and cinnamon.
